Justin Taylor and Le Consort enjoy a successful summer of concerts
Following an already jam-packed summer of festival performances, harpsichordist Justin Taylor and ensemble, Le Consort continue their exciting run of concert dates this week.
On Thursday, 25 July (20:00), Justin and Le Consort present a programme of English and Italian composers with harpsichordist William Christie and mezzo-soprano Eva Zaïcik at Festival 1001 Notes in the spectacular Abbatiale de Solignac,
Following performances opening the Août Musical de Deauville on 27 July (20:00) with mezzo-soprano Adèle Charvet, and at Festival Le Temps Suspendu on 30 July (20:30) with Eva Zaïcik, Justin performs a solo recital at Biarritz Piano Festival on 1 August (21:00) at Hôtel du Palais, presenting works by Scarlatti, Ligeti, and Forqueray.
Justin reunites with Le Consort and Eva Zaïcik to perform at Les Musicales de Normandie on 2 August (20:30) in the Church of Varengeville-sur-Mer.
The ensemble then heads onto the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d'Anthéron on 4 August (18:30) where they present sonatas and works written by Bach, Purcell, and Vivaldi at the Abbaye de Silvacane.
Venturing from France, Justin performs in Finland at the BRQ Vantaa Festival on 9 August (19:00) in the Church of St Lawrence, presenting several sonatas by Scarlatti as well as works by Louis Couperin, François Couperin, and Rameau.
