Marmen Quartet and Simply Quartet win the 2019 Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition

We are delighted to announce the laureates of this year’s edition of the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition are the Marmen and Simply Quartets.

The Grand Prix of the Competition - a three-year international tour - will be awarded to both quartets and is led by CLB Management in collaboration with its partners International Music and Arts (Italy), Künstleragentur Vivace (Germany), Triton Arts Network (Japan), and Boulev'Art Artists' Management (Canada).

In addition to the international tour, both laureates will receive a cash prize, a professional photo session with Simon Buchou, social network and media consultancy from ICART – Bordeaux Arts Management School, and concert outfits provided by T’Edith.

Congratulations also to the Verona, Aris, Tchalik, and Callistro Quartets for their outstanding performances over the duration of the competition from 4 to 12 June in Bordeaux.
