Conductor Diogo Costa makes his debut with the Hallé Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester

Portuguese conductor Diogo Costa steps in and makes his debut with the Hallé in Manchester for a series of 7 concerts with 2 programmes, including 3 appearances at The Bridgewater Hall on 18 and 26 June. They will present the programme “Searching for Dinosaurumpus”, including pieces such as Stravinsky’s Firebird, Grieg’s Peer-Gynt Suite and Pickett’s Dinosaurumpus.

This week, Diogo led the Hallé for their “Come and Play” series, which included highlights from Holst’s The Planets: Jupiter, John Williams’ Star Wars and Superman March as well as works by Dvorak, Strauss and Pickett.
