Quatuor Van Kuijk continue tour of Asia featuring debut performances in Japan and China
Continuing their tour of Asia, where Quatuor Van Kuijk have already made acclaimed debuts in Japan (Musashino and Salvia Halls, Tokyo and Munetsugu Hall, Nagoya), performing works by Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel and Poulenc, the quartet return to Taiwan tomorrow where they will perform at the National Concert Hall, Taipei on 1 May. Following this, the quartet will make their highly anticipated debut in China with two concerts at Hangzhou Grand Theatre and Hainan Grand Theatre on 3 and 4 May, respectively.
This follows two busy recording sessions for the Quartet’s next CD releases: two discs of Mozart. They will present the composer’s quartets K.421 and K.387 as well as a disc of the viola quintets K.515 and K.516, with fellow Frenchman Adrien La Marca over the 19/20 season.
