The Notos Quartett return from their debut tour in China
The Notos Quartett return from their debut China tour this week, following eight concert dates and a live broadcast
at the following venues:
4 April: Guangzhou Opera House, Guangzhou
5 April: Jiangmen Performing Arts Centre, Jiangmen
7 April: He Luting Concert Hall, Shanghai (live broadcast)
9 April: Nankai University, Tianjin
10 April: Sunrise Concert Hall, Beijing
12 April: Shandong Grand Theatre, Jinan
13 April: Jinwan Grand Theatre, Tianjin
14 April: Dalian Development Grand Theatre, Dalian
The Notos presented a programme that demonstrated the evolution of the piano quartet from Mozart to Mahler via Schumann and Brahms, and has been met with rave reviews. You can read all about their concert in Shanghai on 7 April here.
The Notos are already looking forward to a return to Asia later this year when they take part in a tour of Japan from 1-7 July to promote their debut CD, Hungarian Treasures, released on Sony Classical and available to purchase here.
