Benedict Kloeckner receives glowing review for latest CD with Danae Dörken

Together with pianist Danae Dörken, Benedict Kloeckner’s album “Zwischen Nostalgie und Revolution” was released in July 2019 for Genuin and has already received rave reviews.

The CD features works by Robert Schumann, Dmitri Schostakowitsch, and Bohuslav Martinů and showcases the duo’s breathtaking ensemble sound.

Splendid duo playing with long and sweeping lines together with a fair share of hooks and barbs – a fascinating chamber music production that gives us hope that we’ll be hearing more from this duo in the future!
