Benedict Nelson steps in tonight with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in William Alwyn's "Miss Julie"

 

Benedict Nelson will step in tonight with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in William Alwyn's dramatic take on Strindberg's Miss Julie.

This landmark concert staging at the Barbican Centre, London will be conducted by Sakari Oramo in the opera's first concert revival since its 1977 premiere. Benedict will perform the role of Jean alongside soprano Anna Patalong in the role of Miss Julie.
