GRB Concerts charm the audience of Rheingau Musik Festival!

On 26 July, GRB Concerts were joined by the fabulous Louise Dearman to perform a celebration of the iconic movie duo - Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland.

"Conductor Richard Balcombe leads through the evening in simple but charming German. His orchestra succeeds exceptionally well to switch between sonorous strings and big band swing."

Frankfurter Rundschau July 2018

"[Louise Dearman and Graham Bickley] are renowned musical singers who conquered the London West End and its numerous stages from this genre. The experience with role interpretations is especially noticeable in their charming duets and casual little choreography - including tap dance. The audience of the successful evening was equally enthusiastic about these entertainer qualities, as well as the voices of the two who were a virtuoso from the beginning of the medley from Cole Porter's "Can-Can" or George Gershwin's "Girl Crazy"."

"...interpreted by the BBC Concert Orchestra under the experienced direction of Richard Balcombe alone - one fantastic version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". And somewhere up there, Sinatra and Garland are sure to like to listen."
