News of the week | 30th July

Another busy week ahead for our CLB Artists, with performances at various different festivals. 

Béla Quartet start the week with their second performance at Festival de Chaillol with the talented harpist Valeria Kafelnikov on July 30. At the end of the week, the quartet will perform at Semaine Musicale d'Eourres on 5 August in Eourres, France. 

Van Kuijk Quartet will perform in Millay, France as part of the music festival Le vent sur 'arbre on 31 July

Reginald Mobley will be joined by Pacific Musicworks at the Early Music Festival in Vancouver on 2 August, performing works from Vivaldi and Bach.

Evgeni Bozhanov performs at Biarritz Piano Festival on 2 August, performing pieces from Beethoven, Ravell and Liszt. 

Alexandre Tharaud makes an appearance at Festival de Saint Robert in France on 2 August, performing works from Couperin, Debussy, Chabrier and Satie. 

GRB Concerts are joined by GRB's own Graham Bickley and soloists Mary Carewe, Abbie Osmon and Alison Jiear to celebrate 50 years of Burt Bacharach's works. They will perform the programme at National Concert Hall in Dublin on 3 August

Jonathon Heyward has a busy week ahead conducting The Hallé Youth Orchestra at Con Riva Festival in Italy, 3 times this week. 

Momo Kodama performs a programme of Debussy, Hosokawa, akemistu and Moussorgski at La Roque-d'Anthéron Festival on 4 August. 

Ben Johnson and Benedict Nelson will be performing at Southrepps Music Festival from 5 August to 12 August. 

Benedict Kloeckner performs at Honest Brook Festival in New York on 5 August, accompanied by pianist Andrew Armstrong. 

Voce Quartet will perform at Festival Messiaen in Chazelet on 5 August, performing works from Debussy, Stravinsky and Mantovani.
