News of the week | 25th June

On Tuesday 26th June at 16:00 Jenny Q Chai will present her debut at the Wigmore Hall with a Lecture-Recital. The event “Side Effects” will include multimedia and multi-sensory works is created together with Jaroslaw Kapuściński (music) and Kacper Kowalski (Video).

On Thursday 28th June at 19:00, Quentin Hindley will conduct Jonathan Dove’s opera Monster in the Maze, with the Paris Chamber Orchestra at the Philharmonie de Paris.

The Carducci Quartet will perform at St George’s Bristol, with clarinettist Julian Bliss on Friday 29th June. Their programme will feature clarinet quintets by Brahms and David Bruce.

Benedict Nelson will be performing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London on Sunday 1st July at 15:00. The repertoire includes Les Noces by Stravinsky and Carmina Burana by Orff.

The Van Kuijk Quartet will continue their ECHO Rising Star Tour with their debut at  Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden on Sunday 1st July at 11:00.

Jordi Savall and Hespèrion XXI will bring their special project ‘Homage to Syria’ to the UK and Ireland with performances on Thursday 28th June at 20:00, at the National Concert Hall in Dublin (Ireland) and on Friday 29th June at 19:30 at Town Hall in Birmingham (UK).
