Joseph Tawadros starts the week joining Irving Finkel, curator at the British Museum, for the “Out of the Earth” lecture at Oxford Chamber Music Festival on 3 October.
Notos Quartett will perform at Konzert Musikverein in Bamberg on 4 October, MozartFest in Schwetzinger on 5 October and Schloss Achberg on 6 October.
Quentin Hindley leads the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris through Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sheherazade Op. 35 at Conservatoire de Paris on 4 and Théâtre des Bergeries on 5 October.
Emmanuel Faraldo makes his debut at Gran Teatre del Liceu in I Puritani as Sir Bruno Roberton running from 5 October until 21 October.
Béla Quartet is joined by cellist Noémi Boutin at Théâtre De Coulommiers on 5 October, with a programme of D’Adamo and Schubert.
Quatuor Van Kuijk return to the US for concerts at San Diego’s Prebys Concert Hall on 5 October, and the Sunset Center in Carmel, Monterey Bay, on 6 October.
Alexandre Tharaud will perform at the Gran Théâtre in Amiens on 5 October, performing Beethoven’s final three piano sonatas.
Andreas Staier ends the week with a programme of Schubert at Opéra de Dijon on 6 October.
