Today marks the release of the Van Kuijk Quartet's new album with Alpha Classics. Following on from the success of their debut recording, Mozart, which was awarded a Choc-Classica and a Diapason Découverte; the Quartet returns to their roots with an all French line-up. In addition to the quartets of Debussy and Ravel, the album features mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey and pianist Alphonse Cemin in Chausson's Chanson Perpétuelle.

The Quartet will embark on their much anticipated ECHO Rising Stars Tour next month. Performing at many of Europe's most prestigious venues, including the Wiener Konzerthaus, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Philharmonie de Paris, LSO St Luke's and Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, they will play works from the new album as well as a newly commissioned work by Edith Canat de Chinzy entitled En Noir Et Or.
