Said to have been Louis XIV's favorite opera, The Sun King loved the work so much that he enjoyed humming its tunes during his walks. Atys by Jean‑Baptiste Lully is the first example of French lyrical tragedy and is transformed in this production into an extraordinary fusion of opera and ballet, in a collaboration with the Royal Opera of Versailles.
