Diana Soh's new work "I linger lately beyond my time " to be premiered at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence
Diana Soh’s new work "I linger lately beyond my time," will receive its world premiere by the Ensemble intercontemporain at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. This piece gives voice to the wife of the Mad King and rehabilitates all those women, particularly female operatic characters, whom men insist at all costs are unbalanced.
In the rest of the programme, the ensemble will play Rebecca Saunders’s Fury II and Peter Maxwell Davies’ Vesalii Icones under the baton of Sora Elisabeth Lee.
