The Opéra de Lyon is one of the rare French venues to give this season an opera written by a woman, Diana Soh, to be discovered in November: Zylan will not sing anymore (to a text by Yann Verburgh) is a pocket creation around the story of a young persecuted homosexual singer (Benjamin Alunni), which promises to be moving thanks to the pictorial writing of the composer, heir to Ligeti.
