Christian Mason presents a new sound installation at the Mozartsaal in Berlin
This weekend, christian mason premieres his work ‘in unknown elements…in endless transmutation…’ in celebration of ernst von siemens musikstiftung fiftieth anniversary
Having pieced together audio fragments from works by various musicians and composers, Christian Mason presents a unique sound installation at the Mozartsaal of Boulezsaal in Berlin. The installation will be shown before and after evening performances given by Klangforum Wien and Arditti Quartet.
Later in April, Christian will premiere his work titled ‘Invisible Threads’ at the Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik (Witten Festival for New Chamber Music). This work is a performance installation for mobile voices, bass clarinet, accordion and string quartet on a text by Paul Griffiths, commissioned by the city of Witten and financed by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
