A new recording of Handel's Messiah starring Brian Giebler is released on Berto records

Nicholas Kraemer conducts an all star line-up of soloists, recorded live in Chicago as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Music of the Baroque Orchestra and Chorus.

Recorded at modern pitch, this is Brian’s first recording of Handel’s masterpiece The Messiah and one for which he received critical acclaim.

“Giebler’s singing was terrific. His youthful, silvery tenor brought out the expressive essence of each aria, and he handled the coloratura of “Every valley” and “Thou shalt break them” with unruffled ease.”
