Julien Leroy returns to the Opéra-Comique to conduct La Dame blanche

On Thursday, 20th February, Julien Leroy will make a highly anticipated return to the Opéra-Comique in Paris, to conduct the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France in the opening night of François-Adrien Boieldieu’s comic opera, La Dame blanche, directed by Pauline Bureau.

Set in a small Scottish village, an array of interesting characters feature in this witty opera, including a ghost, loyal but gullible farmers, a brave orphan, an amnesic but chivalrous soldier, a greedy housekeeper and a corrupt judge.
