The Carducci Quartet receive outstanding acclaim after their concert at the Barbican

 

The Carducci Quartet receive outstanding acclaim alongside Dame Sarah Connolly, Ian Bostridge, and Julius Drake after performing at the Barbican in London on the 1st November.

With works by Vaughan Williams, Chausson, and Fauré, the performance was described as a “beacon of light amidst the gloom” (Music OMH), while the Guardian described it as a “compelling” and “thoroughly rewarding evening”. The concert will be broadcast in full by BBC Radio 3 on 18 November.
