Paul Carey Jones performs world premiere with BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Lammermuir Festival 2019
On Thursday 19th September, at 19:45, acclaimed Bass-Baritone Paul Carey Jones will perform in the world premiere of the Prometheus Symphony with BBC Symphony Orchestra as part of the Lammermuir Festival 2019. The Prometheus Symphony, which is the last and most ambitious of Stuart MacRae's Lammermuir commissions, is based on the Prometheus myth, and promises to make dramatic use of Haddington's ancient medieval church.
The concert will also feature Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a theme of Thomas Tallis, and Sibelius Symphony No.5.
