Christian Mason presents a "Composer Portrait Concert" whilst in residence at the Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia

British composer Christian Mason will showcase a number of his chamber music compositions in a 'Composer Portrait Concert' on Monday, 12 August (19:00) at the Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia in Bamberg, Germany.

Christian will join Audrey Milherès (flute), Corentin Chassard (cello) and Joseph Houston (piano) of Octandre Ensemble (of which he is Artistic Director) to play bells, harmonica and electronics.

The concert will feature premieres of compositions written during Christian's time in residency at Villa Concordia including A kingfisher dives into the sun…(2019) for electronic soundscape; I wandered for a while…(2019) for flute, cello, electronics, bells and piano; and a re-scored version of Incandescence (2011, rev. 2019) for solo cello.
