Ben Johnson performs at Southrepps Music Festival

This week, Ben Johnson performs in a number of concerts at Southrepps Music Festival, which he founded in 2010 together with Tom Primrose and Daniel Goode.
All performances will take place at St James’s Church in Southrepps, UK.

In the first concert on Thursday, 8th August (12:30), Ben joins forces with renowned pianist Martin James Bartlett. Together they will perform a unique programme based on the theme of “Love and Death”, weaving together piano works by Bach, Liszt, Wagner, Schumann and Prokofiev.

Friday, 9th August (19:30) sees Ben perform as tenor soloist in Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with the Southrepps Sinfonia conducted by David Parry, and featuring the internationally acclaimed horn player Martin Owen.

Ben takes part in a further performance with the first ever staged production at Southrepps - Britten's The Burning Fiery Furnace on Saturday, 10th August (19:30).  This dramatic church parable is conducted by Tom Primrose and stars Ben Johnson as King Nebuchadnezzar.
