Andreas Staier joins forces with Christine Schornsheim and the Dunedin Consort at Edinburgh International Festival

German harpsichordist and fortepianist Andreas Staier performs as part of the Edinburgh International Festival's six-concert survey of J.S. Bach’s complete keyboard concertos on Monday, 19 August (17:30), along with Christine Schornsheim.

Acclaimed as two of Germany’s most renowned harpsichordists, Staier and Schornsheim are joined by the Dunedin Consort for the fourth concert in the Festival's series.

Staier and Schornsheim will perform the Concerto in A major BWV 1055, and the Concerto in F minor BWV 1056, respectively, before coming together to round off the concert with the spectacular Double Concerto in C major BWV 1061

The concert takes place in the stunning surroundings of Edinburgh’s St Cecilia’s Hall – Scotland’s oldest purpose-built concert hall, dating back to 1763.
