Following three sold out performances featuring the music of Amsterdam-based American composer, Kate Moore, including the world premiere of Space Junk at the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Marzena Diakun returns to lead the Asko Schönberg Chamber Orchestra in a further performance of the work at the Wonderfeel Festival on 19 July (21:30).

Stemming from Moore’s concern for the earth and universe, Space Junk is a sonic novella for large ensemble, electronics and four androgynous singers, portraying a dystopian and other-worldly narrative through disconcerting, splintered musical landscapes.

Thanks to the success of the initial project and the exceptional associated outreach, the programme will be revisited at the up-and-coming summer festival Wonderfeel, situated on the beautiful Schaep en Burgh estate near Bussum, Netherlands.

An event not to be missed!
