Carducci Quartet feature on BBC Radio 3's Record Review

The Carducci String Quartet and regular chamber music partner Julian Bliss were featured on Saturday, 9 March’s episode of Record Review on BBC Radio 3 as part of a focus on Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet. Their recording for Signum Classics, released in October 2018, made it onto Richard Wigmore and Andrew McGregor’s recommended Building a Library list.

The quintet team up again next week for a tour of Ireland in which they’ll stop off in Cork, Sligo, Wexford, and Kilkenny. Featuring material from their first album, the quintet will perform another staple of the clarinet quintet oeuvre, Brahms’s Clarinet Quintet in B minor, as well as David Bruce’s Gumboots.
