News of the week | 20th August

Béla Quartet will perform at Festival International des Quatuors twice this week, starting with a performance in Gout on 23 August with a programme including pieces from Janácek, Naegelen and Ravel. They will then perform in La Roque d'Anthéron on 25 August, where they will be joined by harpist Valéria Kafelnikov to perform a programme including Debussy, Caplet, Edler-Copes and Britten. 

Momo Kodama returns to Japan to perform at Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival on 25 August along with her sister Mari Kodama to present a programme including works from Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Saint-Saëns. Their performance will be the second instalment of Chamber Concerts in the festival.
