Momo Kodama performs at Théâtre des Champs Elysées on 30 October
Momo Kodama will perform at Théâtre des Champs Elysées with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris under the direction of Sascha Goetzel on 30 October. The programme includes Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major by W.A. Mozart. In an interview featured on the orchestra’s blog, Momo reveals that this piano concerto is particularly important to her, as it was the first Mozart concerto she ever played.
“I think this concerto reflects life: it's almost a "human comedy"; each one can find their whole range of moods that we go through on a daily basis. And if we sometimes go through a certain melancholy, the overall impression remains very positive.”
This concert is the first collaboration between Momo Kodama and Sascha Goetzel, a conductor Momo admires dearly.
