Andreas Staier’s latest Schubert release meets rave acclaim!

Together with regular chamber music partner, Alexander Melnikov, Andreas’ CD “Schubert: Fantasie in F Minor and Other Piano Duets” was released in March for harmonia mundi and has already received acclaimed reviews. Described as “two of the most individual pianistic brains around” by Harriet Smith from Gramophone, she goes on to say that the CD is “a compelling addition to the Schubert duet discography”. The Guardian describes the pair’s performance as “a nut-warm, sweet-voiced fortepiano modelled after the kind of instrument Schubert would have known”. Next season sees the duo tour North and South America as well as perform a number of recitals across Europe.
